Robin Thirdfloor releases Mali Yami single
After the success of his unexpected release Izigaba Zothando, Robin Thirdfloor took to social media to announce that he was going back to working on his highly anticipated debut album “CHEESEBOY”. Last year Robin told fans that Izigaba Zothando was not a release he had planned, it was inspired by a breakup he experienced with his long-term partner. At the time of the breakup, he was working on his debut album and had to put it on hold to make Izigaba Zothando. The project served as his emotional release for the feelings he was feeling at the time and what a release it was having debuted on number 3 on Audiomack’s global charts amongst some heavy hitters like American rapper Rich Homie Quan and being name one of the artists to look out for by BBC radio’s Tiffany Calver. Having gone back to work on his album and releasing some freestyles weekly to entice fans, Robin announced the release of the first single off his album. The single is called “Mali yami” which is translated as “my money” in English.
